Refund policy

RETURNS

If you have bought an item from our website, and you are not completely happy with it when it arrives or you can prove fault with it, you can return it within 5 days of proven receipt of the item for a refund or exchange (minus $9 shipping fee).  To start a return, you can contact us at info@girlwithanearring.co.nz and advise of your intent to return.

Please Note:

  • Items must be returned in an unused condition, in the original packaging, by secure, tracked post.  
  • To help things move along smoothly, please include the original invoice that came with the shipment. 
  • We do not accept exchanges or returns on bespoke items, or pieces that have been resized or altered.
  • Credit card charges will not be refunded.
  • Unless the items are damaged or defective or not as specified in your order, you are responsible for the cost.  Girl with an Earring will not be responsible for items lost in transit, so returns must be via secure, tracked post, and proven to be received. 
  • Refunds will not be given if the goods have been damaged by you; this includes damage caused by inadequate packaging by you when returning goods.
  • Items found to be faulty through customer damage or general wear and tear will not be replaced and the item will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
  • The items to be returned must reach us within 14 days of receiving your order.

SALE AND CUSTOMISED ITEMS

Sale and customised items are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, so please consider your choice carefully.

REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
